Job Description
With continuous company-wide growth here at Bright Horizons, our IT department has been hard at work and at the forefront of many of the exciting changes within the organization. Right now, we are in need of a Software Systems and Integration Engineer to lead in the design, development, and deployment of solutions across our enterprise applications and various lines of business.
The Software Systems and Integrations Engineer will own critical systems, evaluate and make recommendations on new/existing applications and systems, determine integration requirements, and create solutions to meet organizational needs. This role will also support data migration processes, own issue and change management across large, complex systems, and design solutions to ensure data integrity and quality.
What you will be doing:
Lead in systems analysis and design for complex adaptive systems and leverage experience with enterprise architecture frameworks to design effective solutions.
Develop user stories (functional requirements), interface specifications, and use cases as a basis for developing architecture descriptions.
Design, develop, and maintain the architecture, application platforms, and processes.
Define, deliver, and manage critical application controls in support of published policies.
Work with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and Business Partners to ensure all Projects and Communications are properly executed.
Support the management of operational reporting for key processes and ensure timely delivery to key stakeholders.
Assess and report potential application, integration, and data integrity issues as necessary.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to fully understand, define, and document business requirements for systems, integrations, and/or process changes.
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and consolidate common processes across applications and application teams.
Proactively identify ways in which system and process changes can improve efficiency.
Act as a change agent to help ensure that assumptions, development, and implementation of new systems/processes enhance the success of the project and increase project alignment with the business needs.
Assist application, compliance, and technical teams through design, code, and test and deploy for application development.
Ensure that all process and documentation are consistent with best practices and Bright Horizons standards for Solution Delivery Life Cycle.
Job Requirements
What we hope you will bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or comparable experience required.
Minimum of 5 years' related work experience as a programmer and 3 years in a systems engineering/integration role on enterprise systems.
Must be familiar with both .net and java based system architectures, database design and integration standards and tools, and standard web-services standards and architectures a must.
Must be familiar with Agile, Waterfall, and plan-driven development processes for complex systems.
Strong knowledge of Service-oriented architectures, ETLs, and enterprise service buses as well as discrete event dynamic systems and executable architectures.
Must have strong communication and be comfortable working with a variety of user groups at all levels within the organization.
Must have a strong customer service philosophy and skills, thrive in a team environment as well as in an individual setting, and demonstrate impeccable organization and attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze problems, document needs, and communicate these needs to a variety of audiences.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
