Our cutting-edge client, located west of Boston, is looking for a talented freelance multi-media designer to help them on a full-time, onsite basis with a number of projects.
Responsibilities will include the concept and design of banners, emails, sites, videos, marketing materials and print. This will involve the design and manipulation of images, animations, sound, video and text into multimedia programs, digital editing, photography, and corporate branding. You will be managing projects from concept through to finished product, and working with the creative team to come up with ideas outside of the box and better ways to do things.
To qualify, you should have 5--7 years of well-rounded design expertise, a great portfolio and the ability to work well in a busy, goal-oriented environment. Fluency in current web and design practices and software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Flash is important, as is Javascript, HTML and CSS. Coding experience is required, as is fluency with social media including Twitter, Facebookl LinkedIn and HootSuite. Web framework experience such as WordPress is highly desired.
