The Manager of PMO will be responsible for the following:
The Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the management and enhancement of an Information Technology (IT) Project Management Office (PMO)
Overseeing IT's project portfolio and pipeline, managing large complex projects,
Refining the Project Management (PM) methodology, supporting management of IT infrastructure for acquisitions and managing business analysis and quality insurance.
Responsibilities also include integrated status reporting, budgeting, resource management, reporting, training, oversight and quality assessments for complex corporate shared services.
The Manager of PMO must have the following skills:
Drive and communicate the project management vision.
Facilitate project portfolio management, prioritization, and portfolio governance aligned with corporate strategies.
Provide strong project management leadership and drive organizational maturity in the project management processes.
Recruit and develop Project Manager who can direct corporate projects in a matrix environment that requires people, process, and technology delivery.
Actively develop, mentor, and coach people so that they have the competencies and skills to successfully complete projects.
Create and implement standardized project management and business analysis practices and create and leverage appropriate processes and tools.
Act as overall manager of key vendor relationships and as escalation point as necessary for project team.
Provide enterprise visibility into project portfolio performance and enterprise resource management by developing summary and detail status and resource utilization reporting.
Establish standardized, visible, accurate project benchmarks and performance metrics to monitor project health and continuously improve project delivery.
Actively engage in ensuring the project portfolio is delivered on time, on budget, and with the required quality and scope.
The Manager of PMO must meet the following
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, business or related field required; Master's degree desired.

years' experience in delivering large complex projects.
2
years' management experience in leading a Project Management Office.
In-depth and demonstrated expertise in delivering people, process and technology change.
Track record of developing and enforcing project management procedures and policies.
Strong vendor management experience.
Expert in requirements development methods and methodology.
Expert in tracking and planning resources in a large environment.
Expert in reporting project status to management.
In depth knowledge of portfolio management, governance, and reporting.
Experience working in a consulting services organization servicing external clients desired.
Ability to manage independently in a dynamic environment with rapid development cycles, multifunctional teams, and tight project timeframes.
Healthcare, hospitality, and/or real estate management industry experience a plus.
Limited travel may be required.
PMI Certification a plus.
