Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Infrastructure Project Manager to support our operations in Watertown, MA. This excellent opportunity requires that the ideal candidate to be customer focused, and willing to join a winning team.
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
o Work closely with the business functional areas, technical teams and vendors to define systems/project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing deliverables and funding.
o Consult with management and review project proposals
o Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, dependencies, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
o Drive standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
o Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
o Work closely with multiple vendors
o Assign tasks and responsibilities, and drive accountability to project team members.
o Direct and coordinate activities of project resources to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
o Track project-related costs and expenditures.
o Facilitate projects by defining agendas and conducting meetings.
o Aggregate status delivered by project team, track schedules, and manage risks and issues as required.
o Manage scope and the change request process, coordinating decision process of scope and budgetary impact of changes from original specifications.
o Coordinate testing and Quality Assurance processes and ensure traceability to original requirements.
o Track and maintain project and technical documentation.
The Infrastructure Project Manager must have the following skills:
o Experience in managing infrastructure projects from conception to production. ID as is State and provide plan to get site up to specs, often by viewing photos of facilities
o Must have command of network infrastructure to include knowledge of Cat5, Cabling, Routing/Switching technologies and wireless technology
o Experience utilizing a structured project management methodology and formal tools/approaches
o Experience with recognized project management tools including MS Project
o Experience managing vendors as a component of project teams
o Knowledge and experience in high-performance technical environments
o Demonstrated ability to perform independently in a dynamic environment with rapid development cycles, multi-functional teams and tight project timeframes
The Infrastructure Project Manager must meet the following
Qualifications:
o Five (5) or more years of IT project planning and management experience.
o Bachelor's degree in IT, business or related field
o Healthcare, hospitality, and/or real estate management industry experience a plus.
o PMI certification a plus.
o Limited travel may be required
