Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Desktop Support Analyst, to support our operations in Watertown, Ma.

The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for the following:
oWorks as an extension of the corporate technical Service Desk team and focuses on resolving issues the first level support cannot handle or requires a desk side visit
oProvide high touch support for VIP's and their Administrative Assistants.
oCreate and update all policies, procedures, and documentation for VIP Service.
oTrack trends and metrics for VIP support requests and drive them to completion.
oDocument incidents, problems, and requests in the company ticketing system (Service Now).

The Desktop Support Analyst must have the following skills:
oProvide 1st level support for phone and deskside support for mobile devices (Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, and Android).
oResponsible for performing regular maintenance checks and supporting all Audio Visual equipment
oTrain Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff on new procedures and policies involving new technology/devices.
oInstall, configure, and support all hardware and software in the environment.
oLevel 2 or 3 knowledge of PC hardware and software breakfix with an emphasis on Microsoft environments.

The Desktop Support Analyst must meet the following qualifications:
oCollege degree preferred, A+ certification preferred.
o2-4 years' experience working in IT role including Service Desk, hardware deployment/configuration and access administration.
oStrong communication and customer-service orientation skills, including both phone and onsite support with a primary focus on executive level support.
oFull working knowledge of all components of IT infrastructure including remote access (VPN), desktops and wireless devices.
oExperience in supporting audio and video conferences over Office Communicator, Live Meeting, Skype, and Cisco Meeting Place. Experience in supporting IP-based phone systems (Cisco).
oFamiliarity with Logical User Access (LUA) account administration.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
