Located just outside of Boston, they have built one of the strongest User Experience teams in New England. As they continue to build customer centric software, they are looking for a Director of Usability to join their team.

The right candidate will be passionate to the point of fanatical about research and usability testing. They should be a champion of R&D and will have experience spearheading usability projects while managing several teams. This is a high visibility role; usability and user experience are the lifeblood of the company.

Lead a multifaceted team of usability and research professionals on a variety of R&D projects
Work senior leadership to improve processes and address gaps
Develop methods and analysis to deliver improved user experiences that drive business results
Keep yourself and your team updated with research technologies, tools and trends
Motivate team, managing career paths, and advocate for team members

At least 10 years of experience as a professional user experience researcher or a similar role
At least 5 years of experience managing direct reports
Outstanding portfolio showing hands-on usability track record. This should include artifacts with a discussion of business challenges, constraints, and achievements
Knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred
BA/BS required, with focus in Human Computer Interaction or Human Factors preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
