Applications Engineer

WiTricity is seeking a versatile Applications Engineer as a key member within our Field Applications team implementing our next generation Wireless Charging products to power the global deployment of Electric VehiclesWe are seeking experienced, innovative, proactive candidates with a combination of technical and customer-facing experience to drive successful implementations and customer deploymentsYou will collaborate across various functions including Product Development, Sales, Business Development, and Product Management.
You will provide support to OEMs implementing wireless charging solutions based on WiTricity's electrical, mechanical, and software programming interfacesYou will support commissioning of systems through OEMs, Dealers, and InstallersYou will work closely with our sales team to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction, with product development on escalations as well as providing valuable input on product improvementsYou will also work closely with Product Management providing input on next generation productsCandidates should have strong technical background in EE, ME, or software and have experience working with customers who themselves are also very technical.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support on WiTricity's Halo PV Wireless Charging Product and Reference Design to Golf Car OEMs and battery component suppliers Hardware and software support to Golf Car OEMs who are implementing WiTricity wireless charging into their productsThis support extends also to Golf Car Battery and Battery Management System (BMS) suppliers Support includes mechanical, electrical, and software components of the system Establish and maintain strong lines of communications with key members of technical staff at OEMs / Battery Suppliers at the engineering and technical management level.
Provide technical support to Golf Car dealers who are implementing WiTricity Halo PV solutionsThis includes pre-sales and post-sales support; installation & troubleshootingInitiates Return Material Authorization (RMA) for non-functioning product both in-warranty and out-of-warranty.
Contribute to product documentation and training materials.
Provide occasional on-site support for on-boarding, field trials, and troubleshooting.
Work closely with WiTricity's Operation's team handling logistics and reverse logistics (RMA) Work closely with WiTricity Sales team to cultivate new business, support existing customers, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Work closely with WiTricity's Product Development to ensure timely resolution of integration and field problemsWork closely with Product Management on product enhancements and customer feedback.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.

years of experience working with customers in a technical environment.
Excellent computer and software skills; knowledge of embedded system required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in an EE lab including experience with Oscilloscopes, Soldering, and other test equipment.
Must have good mechanical skills and working knowledge of mechanical engineering.
Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly technical environment and work on multiple concurrent activities.
Knowledge of battery technologies (Li-Ion, LiFeO4, AGM, etc.
) and charging cycles preferred.
Knowledge of communication controls used in battery charging (CAN, PWM, etc.
) preferred.
Experience working alongside Business Development and Sales is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
