Job Description:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, the Development Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring that data is accurately and efficiently entered into the organization's CRM (Raiser's Edge NXT), and for extracting information from the database to aid the organization in donor communications and data analysis.
The Development Operations Specialist will work closely with the Development Assistant on donation processing and gift acknowledgments.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Build and utilize reports to ensure data hygiene related to donations, gift acknowledgments, and other donor information.
Run queries in the database to extract information for donor communications, impact reports, and analysis.
Regularly run wealth screens on development prospects to assess philanthropic potential.
Pre-requisite
Qualifications:
1-3 years professional work experience, ideally in a nonprofit development office Highly organized and detail-oriented Highly self-motivated with a curiosity to continuously learn; excellent problem solver Strong computer and technology skills.
Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office required.
Experience with any type of CRM (constituent relationship management) required.
Experience Raiser's Edge and/or RE NXT is highly preferred.
Candidates with Salesforce experience will also be considered.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
